Crystal Clear

Menorca is one of those islands which has become a traditional holiday for my family, but who's complaining - it's beautiful! Who would say no to a week of lounging by a pool or snorkeling in the crystal clear sea and not forgetting that tan?!??! Naaaat me

We spent a lot of the week by the beach as it's just stunning. We hired a couple of pedalo boats and challenged ourselves to swim out to the pontoon, which we decided was perhaps a bit to challenging after crying with laughter at the sight of my grandad trying to climb on it!

I hope to explore more beautiful, warm little islands like this one day, and hopefully be able to take part in the yacht week around Greece as it seems like the best way to see the islands.

A Khaki Krush

Khaki is a huge colour trend this spring summer and is one I'm super happy to jump on the band wagon with.

Shirt: H&M | Waistcoat: F&F | Jeans: Topshop | Hat: River Island | Bag: Michael Kors | Watch: Vivienne Westwood | Ring: ASOS

Khaki is a super easy trend to nail as you can recycle your autumn wardrobe!

I have of course created a khaki inspired outfit/wishlist. I love how the rose gold accessories complement the mossy shade of green (I'm really not very good at describing colours - sorry!).

Although layering khaki may seem scary, it actually goes together very neatly. I really think that the shirt-jeans-blazer combo would look amazing all together worn with a bunch of confidence.

The hat is perfect for those warm and sunny days and uggghhh that bag! The watch too! Can I have this all please?!?!?! haha

Anyway, I really enjoy putting these collages together so I hope it gave you some inspiration!

70s Stylin'

I've grouped together some of my favourite pieces from the high street to create the perfect 70s inspired outfit

Shirt: Zara | Skirt: New Look | Hat: ASOS | Boots: Public Desire | Sunglasses: River Island | Bag: River Island | Temporary Tattoo's: River Island

I love the 70s trend at the moment and so this outfit is right up my street. I've kept the colours very minimal and subtle. The grey and black balance out for the busyness of the clothing items.

This suede skirt has been on my lust list since I first laid my eyes on it. The grey colour allows an easier route for the suede trend as it's not as bold as the traditional camel colour.

You could either tuck the denim shirt in, leave it out or do as I would and tuck on side into the shirt and leave the other side out for an effortlessly put together outfit.

I chose peep toe ankle boots as these are my favouite shoes at the moment and together with the black pleather bag they compliment the skirt and shirt.

For accessories, I've chose these sunnies as they add a retro, vintage feel and round glasses were a huge trend in the 70s. The hat is a staple in my spring/summer wardrobe and the flash/temporary tats are a great all rounder for the festival season.

Overall, I'm in LOVE with this outfit, especially the skirt! Let me know if you like it by commenting below or tweeting me @em_que_.

Easter In The New Forrest

Hello everyone, if you celebrated Easter I hope you had a lovely weekend. I spent my Easter in the New Forrest with my family and of course snapped away.

We were insanely lucky that the weather was beautiful. There wasn't a miserable day!

I love that you can cycle or walk for miles and also that there are always horses roaming around freely.

My little brother enjoying playing in one of the many rivers!

Sorry for the picture heavy post, but I hope you enjoyed this post anyway.

A Rose Gold Obsession

Rose gold is possibly the most beautiful colour ever. Especially in makeup. I'm going to share some of my favourite rose gold products with you today.

Benefit Rockateur Blush / £23.50 / buy here

A beautiful rose toned pink blusher with gold sparkles running through it. I love this so much because of the healthy glow it adds to your cheeks.

BarryM Glitter Nail Paint / £2.99 / buy here (in the shade 'Rose Quartz Glitter')

As seen in my latest post, this nail varnish looks beautiful on top of another colour. I tend to put it over pinky shades because of the rose glitter flakes.

Benefit lip gloss / part of a gift set in the shade 'I'm With The Band' / similar here (in the shade 'Lychee Luxe') or similar here (in the shade 'Glorious Grapefruit')

Rose gold lip glosses are my favourite shades to wear! They go with pretty much any makeup look, especially with my Rockateur blush and a gold/bronze smokey eye!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

DIY Afternoon Tea Party

For my sisters' birthday the other week, my mum and I threw them an afternoon tea party. The day was filled with smiles, battenburg and floral bunting. It was the perfect grownup afternoon party for a little ladies.

The nail paining bar! The girls had the choice of a gel manicure or regular nail painting but the UV lamp helped dry both options quickly.
The girls also had the opportunity to make their own tea bags. They had regular tea leaves which they mixed with lavender or mint and tied together with pretty ribbons and shabby chic tags.

For the party bags the girls were given a mug with some retro sweeties and milkshake straws, as well as their hand-made tea!
